On June 5th, HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and POP Movement will hold an MOU commemoration ceremony via webinar.
Through this MOU signing, HWPL and POP Movement plan to promote peace activities worldwide and strengthen peace education. The webinar will be held under the theme “Redefining Climate Change as a Human Rights Crisis”. It will serve as a platform to devise ways to prevent the social inequality and human rights violations caused by climate change.
Additionally, an education program jointly planned by HWPL and POP movement will be introduced. This program aims to build the skills of participants to understand issues from diverse perspectives and devise solutions.
This event will serve as a foundation for both organizations to engage in long-term peace work and is expected to strengthen their cooperation toward finding solutions for the climate change crisis.
The HWPL and POP Movement MOU commemoration ceremony, which will be conducted via Zoom, can also be attended through YouTube Live streaming.
